Building Bridges Spring Events
May 5, 2023
The Building Bridges events hosted by the Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services (BDDS) are designed to allow individuals and families to connect with BDDS staff, ask questions, share feedback, and discuss any concerns or successes they have experienced with bureau services.
At these meetings, individuals and families with disabilities can come together in a forum for constructive conversations. BDDS hopes that these meetings will allow for meaningful conversations that result in positive outcomes and stronger relationships. It’s a great opportunity to provide suggestions or input for positive change in the services and support provided by BDDS.
There are both in-person and virtual opportunities to participate, so no matter where you are, you can join the conversation. In-person events will be held at the following locations and times:
- 5/8/23: Monroe County Library, 303 E Kirkwood Ave, Bloomington IN, 47408, Meeting Room 2A, 4:30-6:30 pm EDT
- 5/22/23: Delaware County Library, 2005 S High St, Muncie IN, 47302, Maring Hunt Meeting Room, 5-7 pm EDT
- 6/5/23: Lake County Library, 1919 W 81st Ave, Merrillville IN, 46410, Meeting Room C, 6-8 pm EDT (5-7 pm CDT)
If you are unable to attend any of the in-person events, there are also two virtual opportunities to participate using Zoom:
- 5/10/23 – 11 am-1 pm EDT: Virtual Zoom link
