About Us
AID of Indiana was founded February 12, 2016 by “Joy” Maria Booth.
Joy Booth worked for many years as a nurse at other ID/DD service providers and realized that she was part of a system built on supporting investors, not supporting the individuals and caregivers. AID of Indiana began as a dream for something better from a desire to see positive, quality driven residential and community programs. We opened our first 24 hour setting on June 30, 2016 after becoming an approved Medicaid Waiver provider through the State of Indiana.

In order to better serve the individuals in need of assistance, AID of Indiana is committed to providing complete, in-depth training that meets industry standards and in many cases surpasses it. In addition to our emphasis on training we believe that to effectively provide the highest quality of care requires employing compassionate people who are shown appreciation and are supported in a positive environment. In our experience, better staff means better care. Since 2016 AID has grown to almost 500 employees, 27 residential homes, and now serves Hoosiers throughout the state of Indiana.
Why The Lotus Flower?
The Lotus flower grows out from mud and murky water into beautiful white, red, pink, and sometimes blue flowers. AID of Indiana was born from a frustration with the status quo, but grew into a hope for something better. The Lotus flower became the symbol for that hope and serves as a reminder that even out of the toughest situations something beautiful will grow.
