Intended Use of Grant Money
AID of Indiana faces various challenges impacting business operations. Current employee shortages are causing understaffing that has resulted in high overtime. Increased overhead expenses have damaged the ability to improve wages and benefits. This Direct Service Workforce Grant would allow AID to cover overtime costs while also improving wages and benefits available to employees. In addition, this grant would help AID to build stronger teams and provide exceptional care through increased marketing efforts to combat understaffing, and help fund new and improved training initiatives.
95% of the allotted amount of grant funding would go towards benefitting current and future direct service employees.
5% of the awarded grant funding would be used to increase marketing efforts aimed at improving understaffing.
The document below demonstrates how money from the grant would be tracked. Figures are used for example only.
